National Sales Manager | Full-Time
The National Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee the development and maintenance of relationships with national commercial accounts and larger dealer group customers resulting in new and expanded consignment and opportunities for the auction group. This includes calling on accounts such as OEMs, banks, auto lenders, rental companies, and fleet companies. The National Sales Manager is also responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies that benefit the McConkey Auction Group and its customers through in-house promotions, attendance at industry events, and strategic sponsorships. Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education, 10+ years of relationship-focused sales experience in the automotive or auction industry and demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Travel is required.
Accounting Specialist | Full-Time
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Accounting Department by accurately and efficiently completing duties as assigned, and to provide administrative support to the Vice President of Finance in an efficient, confidential manner. The Accounting Specialist is responsible for accurately daily posting of all bank deposits and issuing consignor checks utilizing QuickBooks, reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts at the end of each accounting month and other accounting duties as assigned when the individual responsible for such duties is absent. Successful candidates will have 2-3 years of administrative experience, proficiency in QuickBooks, the ability to multi-task, strong interpersonal skills and excellent problem-solving skills. Demonstrated organizational and customer service skills are required. A valid driver’s license is required and a three-year driving abstract will be required for this position.
Vehicle Processing Specialist | Full-Time
Our Vehicle Processing Specialists are responsible for providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers, properly checking vehicles in and out of the auction, the accurate and timely recording of vehicles, efficiently and safely moving of vehicles as well as providing building and lot security. Successful candidates will possess basic PC skills, the ability to multi-task, strong interpersonal skills and excellent problem-solving skills. A valid driver’s license is required and a three-year driving abstract will be required for this position.
Detail Specialist | Full-Time | DAY SHIFT
We have openings for responsible, hardworking individuals, for the position of Detail Specialist. Successful candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, a history of excellent work attendance, and the ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work as part of a team in an assembly line environment. A three-year driving abstract will be required for this position.
Entry Level Mechanic | Full-Time
This position is responsible for performing basic services on a variety of makes and models under the supervision of the Assistant Manager. On the job training will be provided and more complex jobs will be issued as training progresses. This position will also perform safety inspections completely and accurately according to established safety inspection checklist. Successful candidates must have a history of excellent work attendance, a demonstrated attention to detail and a minimum of 6 months experience working in a lube or tire shop is preferred. Mechanical aptitude and your own tools are required, along with valid driver’s license and a clean three-year driving abstract.
Auto Body Repair Tech | Full-Time
This position is responsible for the repair of assigned vehicles including inspecting damaged vehicles, reviewing estimates, developing a repair plan for each vehicle, and completing all necessary repairs. A minimum of 2 years’ experience with demonstrated quality workmanship is required. Also, you must provide your own tools. Other duties may be assigned or requested to ensure a high level of productivity at all times. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license. A three-year driving abstract will be required for this position.
Chip Repair Technician | Full-Time | WEST PLAINS LOCATION
This position is responsible for completing all aspects of auto finish correction, and/or restoration of damaged existing auto paint and all necessary preparation of vehicles in order to paint, sand, mask, buff, etc. Successful candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, a history of excellent work attendance and a demonstrated attention to detail. 1 – 2 years’ experience in an auto body shop or at a chip repair company is preferred. For the right candidate, most training for this position could be obtained “on the job” over the course of two to six months.
Vehicle Processing Specialist | Part-Time

The shifts for this position will be Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM & Sundays from 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Sale Day Drivers | Sale Day Only | Multiple Positions Available
This position is responsible for safely operating vehicles in support of Sale Day events. This includes driving assigned vehicles through the auction lanes as well as moving and parking vehicles on auction property. Although the driving distance isn’t long, the hazards of driving in close proximity to people and other vehicles requires focus and the ability to follow safety rules. A valid driver’s license and a three-year driving abstract will be required for this position. The schedule is every Thursday, and one Wednesday per month.
